Hooray!!!!!! - My first follower

Hi everyone,

When you first start a blog you start to wonder if there is anyone out there reading it.  So imagine my surprise when I checked this blog today and noticed I had my first follower.  Thanks Xinfinitum!!!!!!

Keep Your Head Down - Step 2 completed

Hi,

I figured that in order to find the next penny I would have to keep my head down and look for it.  This paid off today.  I was in the local Quick Check picking up the Sunday paper and I found another penny on the floor (this completes Step 2).

On the way out of the store I found another penny on the ground in the parking lot so I am part way through Step 3.

To summarize:

Total $.03
Current Step 3
Amount needed to complete Step $.01

Anyway I am off to my daughter's ice skating competition.  I will keep my head down and try to complete the current step.

Was out and about today but did not find any additional money to add to my doubling project.  I did however, as promised in my first post, find the original report by Stuart Goldsmith.  Click Here for a copy. 

The report outlines the rules for doubling your way to a million dollars in 28 steps.  Here are the steps:

Step 1: Find a cent lying on the ground

Step 2: 1 cent-2 cents

Step 3: 2 cents-4 cents

Step 4: 4 cents-8 cents

Step 5: 8 cents-16 cents

Step 6: 16 cents-32 cents

Step 8: 64 cents-$1.28

Step 9: $1.28-$2.56

Step 10: $2.56-$5.12 (Call it $5 to make it easier)

Very First Message - Step 1 Completed

Hi,

This blog will document my attempt to make a million dollars, starting with nothing, by following the "How to double your way to a million in 28 Steps" program. You can google "double to a million" to find the exact plan. Once I figure out how, I will post a link to the plan.

This is part of a bigger project I am working on, which I am calling "OFF KILTER". I will post more about off kilter later.

Anyway, I attempted to do this once before but did not really follow through on it. About a week ago, I was thinking about doing it again when my son found $20 in a parking lot. Then last night my daughter found $20 in the bathroom while in the supermarket. I took this as a sign and started looking down on my way out of the store. What did I find one penny. Not as lucky as the kids I guess but that is step one completed.

I know this will sound like BS but as I am writing this post I got a phone call from my daughter. She just found another $20.

Anyway, step one (finding one penny) is complete. Step two is to double this amount. Hope you will start your own journey to a million. If you do please reply to one of my posts and let me know how you are doing. If you are already on a doubling mission of your own let me know that too!!!
